Coaching philosophy

Robin with athletes

To be in a position to help people is extremely rewarding. Whether you are an Olympic athlete or not EVERYONE deserves opportunities to improve their performance. I have been inspired by so many people over the years and it is not the most talented individuals that have left their mark, but those who have overcome many obstacles and adversities in their quest to achieve personal dreams and goals. Although coaching involves many components which helps lead to a specific improvement in performance, to me, it is still very important to make this process fun, challenging, stimulating, rewarding, satisfying and enjoyable.

Course Feedback

'Just want to start by telling you how inspiring your camp was, it feels rewarding to know how good the camp was for both our mental and physical fitness.  Liz I really didn't think I'd be riding 80K a week after getting on my first road bike and Patrick and I were so amazed that we were able to do the half marathon after four days of intensive training.'
Patrick & Ceri (UK) WW Tri Camp March 08

'Thanks to all the staff and their successful efforts - For me it's my years coaching in a two week package and, as always, comprehensively complete. My new friends and my old friends, a splendid mix of talents and interesting personalities, it was great to meet and see you all again. Many thanks for the overwhelming support during the Wednesday dinner party - a moment I shall never forget.'
Jon (UK) WW Tri camp March 07

'I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you very much for the past 2 weeks - I had an absolutely fantastic time and got so much out of it.... Can't wait until next year already'
Jo (UK) WW Tri camp March 07

'Sadly, back home and missing the camp already, hopefully next time I can stay until the end.  I just wanted to say thanks so much to you and Robin and the team for making my time in La Santa really productive as well as great fun.  Even in my short time there I really feel that I have made great progress and that everything that I learnt on the camp in October seems to have paid dividends.  I feel so much stronger, faster and more confident than I did last year.'
Amanda (UK) WW Tri camp March 07

'To the Brew team a massive thank you for an inspirational week, I learnt so much, now all I have to do is keep focussed and use what I learnt!'
Judy (UK) WW Tri camp March 07

'The camp was really good and half of it was you and us together, great team! Thank you all for support and laughs'
Lena (SWE) WW Tri camp March 07

'Well got my open water 1500 down from 29min to 27 so although not off to Beijing in August (it’s my birthday anyway so a bit busy) pretty pleased'
